Rivas Ecopolis celebrated the first win in Euroleague eighth-final series against Bourges Basket. The teams head to France for the second game of the best-of-three series. Asjha Jones nailed 16 points and collected 9 rebounds to lead the hosts to the win today. The lead changed hands for several occasions throughout the starting quarter. However Rivas Ecopolis capped the frame strongly to take a 17:13 lead. Bourges Basket opened the second frame with six points in a row to take the lead. The visitors stayed in charge to arrive at halftime up by 7 points 32:25. Bourges kept the hosts at bay throughout the third term. The French team managed to enter the fourth period up by 4 points 46:42. But Rivas Ecopolis triggered an 8:0 run midway through the final quarter to take a 56:52 lead. Bourges tied things up at 59 but Aguilar and Asjha Jones accounted for six points in a row from the stripe in the dying seconds to win the game. Amaya Valdemoro provided 14 points, while Anna Cruz added 10 in the victory. Bourges Basket answered with 17 points from Styliani Kaltsidou. Jennifer Digbeu produced 12 points in the loss.
