Familia Schio needed overtime to eliminate the defending champions of EuroLeague. The Italian side beat Perfumerias 82:72 and advanced to the Final Eight. Familia Schio made 26-of-34 free shots during the game. They also forced 19 Perfumerias Avenida turnovers. Perfumerias Avenida started with 24-22, but the Italian team grabbed the lead at the halftime due to 21-16 in the second frame. The teams exchanged the narrow victories in the second half that gave 68:68 after four quarters. Schio had an opportunity to go in front in regulation but Laura Macchi made just one of two free-throws. The best player for the winners was Janel McCarville who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Laura Macchi chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. American guard DeWanna Bonner produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and Brazilian center Erika De Souza added 22 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
