Fenerbahce Ulker was not able to win in Milano on Wednesday night. It was a do-or-die game for the Turkish champion, but they didn't make it. Emporio Armani celebrated 85-72 victory in this meeting to end Euroleague Top 16 as No.3 of Group G with 3-3 record. FB Ulker is the last ranked team in this pool with 2-4. Both teams failed to reach the Playoffs. Malik Hairston shined for the winners with 27 points. Alessandro Gentile had 12 points and Omar-Sharif Cook added 10 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. Ernest Bremer also scored 10 pts for the hosts. In FB Ulker, Emir Preldzic had 15 points and 5 assists, and Bojan Bogdanovic netted 14 points. James Gist (9 rebs) and Roko-Leni Ukic posted 12 points apiece. Milano had 14-point lead at the beginning of the last period and everything what FB Ulker was able to do after that was minus 7 midway through the quarter. Malik Hairston, Cook and Roca immediately replied and lifted their team to 80-69 lead with less than three minutes remaining and Fener was on the knees. Quarters: 20-21, 26-19, 20-15, 19-17.
