CSKA Moscow demonstrated its power against Gescrap Bilbao in Game One of the Euroleague Quarterfinals. The Russian powerhouse celebrated easy 98-71 home win for 1-0 lead in this best-of-five series. The hosts shined in second and third period, what was enough to secure a comfortable win. CSKA had six players with double-digits in scoring last night. Nenad Krstic was the leading one with 18 points and Alexey Shved followed with 15. Jamont Gordon helped his team with 14 pts. Visitors got 15 points from Kostas Vasiliadis and one less from Alex Mumbru. Their third scorer was Marko Banic with 9 points. Quarters: 27-26, 23-14, 34-11, 14-20. Game Two will be played in Moscow as well and it is scheduled for tomorrow. After that, teams will meet next Wednesday in Bilbao.
