Important game to mention about took place in Nyiregyhaza. Tenth ranked FS Debrecen (8-16) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Marso NYKK (7-17) 90-88 in the fight for the tenth place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Marso NYKK won third quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when FS Debrecen won last quarter 24-24. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for power forward Miklos Szabo (206-86, college: Hofstra) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Justin Ingram (185-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) helped adding 25 points and 4 assists. American swingman Fred Warrick (195-76, college: Coppin St., agency: Alti Sport) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Stefan Fekete (188-86, agency: Beo Basket) scored 18 points. Four FS Debrecen and five Marso NYKK players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for FS Debrecen. They maintain tenth place with 8-16 record. Marso NYKK lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost. FS Debrecen will face higher ranked PVSK Pannon (#7) in Pecs in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Marso NYKK will play on the road against Szedeak (#11) in Szeged and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
