Regular Season Round 25: PVSK Pannon - Szedeak 110-92

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked PVSK Pannon (13-12) beat 11th ranked Szedeak (7-18) in Pecs 110-92 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by PVSK Pannon. Szedeak managed to win fourth quarter 32-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PVSK Pannon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (199-80, agency: BeoExcell) nailed 33 points (!!!) for the winning side and the former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) accounted for 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Szedeak in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. PVSK Pannon maintains seventh place with 13-12 record. Newly promoted Szedeak keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. They share it with Marso NYKK. PVSK Pannon will meet Soproni (#8) on the road in the next round. Szedeak will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and hope to secure a win.
