Rather expected game when 12th ranked Marso NYKK (7-18) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked Soproni (11-14) 88-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-64. Soproni dominated on the defensive end, holding Marso NYKK to just 6 points in third quarter. American guard Janou Rubin (193-82, college: UCLA, agency: Two Points) nailed 26 points for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Dontay Thomas (186-84, college: La Salle) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) came up with 23 points and Serbian power forward Ivan Miskovic (203-84, college: Alaska-Fairb.) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Marso NYKK in the defeat.
