A Division top team - Falco-Szova (23-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked Marso NYKK (7-19) in Nyiregyhaza 105-92. The game was mostly controlled by Falco-Szova. Marso NYKK was better in third quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Marso NYKK 39-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. International forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Chad Timberlake (194-84, college: Fair Dickinson) supported him with 23 points (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Falco-Szova players scored in double figures. Even 30 points and 8 assists by American guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) did not help to save the game for Marso NYKK. Montenegrin forward Damjan Kandic (208-84) added 21 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falco-Szova have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-3 record. Marso NYKK lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 19 games lost.
