Rather expected game in Lubertsy where 5th ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (8-9) was defeated by third ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (10-5) 82-73. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Spartak St.Petersburg won third quarter 24-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Triumph Lyubertsy won last quarter 26-19. They made 31-of-37 charity shots (83.8 percent) during the game, while Spartak St.Petersburg only scored seven points from the stripe. 32 personal fouls committed by Spartak St.Petersburg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. They maintain third place with 10-5 record having seven points less than leader Khimky. Spartak St.Petersburg at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost.
