The game in Vladivostok supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked CSKA Moscow (15-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Spartak-Prim. (7-10). CSKA Moscow smashed Spartak-Prim. 90-66 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by CSKA Moscow. Spartak-Prim. managed to win third quarter 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CSKA Moscow dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak-Prim.'s 36. CSKA Moscow forced 21 Spartak-Prim. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Spartak-Prim.'s players. The winners were led by Serbian guard Milos Teodosic (195-87) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 assists and the former international guard Alexey Shved (196-88, agency: Alti Sport) supported him with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four CSKA Moscow players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by American point guard Torey Thomas (180-85, college: Holy Cross, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Spartak-Prim.. The former international guard Nikolay Padius (197-80) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSKA Moscow have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Newly promoted Spartak-Prim. dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Krasnie Krilya and Unics. CSKA Moscow will meet Spartak St.Petersburg (#5) on the road in the next round. Spartak-Prim. will have a break next round.
