Very expected game when 10th ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (2-16) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (9-9) 84-63. It looked good early as Enisey Krasnoyarsk took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Spartak St.Petersburg had a 21-12 second period charge getting the lead and Enisey Krasnoyarsk was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-84. Spartak St.Petersburg forced 23 Enisey Krasnoyarsk turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Enisey Krasnoyarsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Patrick Beverley (185-88, college: Arkansas) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
