Regular Season Round 4: PEAC-PECS - MBK Eurl.Vasas 68-49

Bottom-ranked MBK Eurl.Vasas (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 68-49 loss to fifth ranked PEAC-PECS (2-2) in Pecs. The game was mostly controlled by PEAC-PECS. MBK Eurl.Vasas was better in fourth quarter 26-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PEAC-PECS's coach Zeljko Djokic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Judit Barnai (190-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Anna Mansare (188-92) added 12 points in the effort for MBK Eurl.Vasas. Newly promoted PEAC-PECS maintains fifth position with 2-2 record, which they share with Atomeromu. MBK Eurl.Vasas at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. PEAC-PECS will play against Bacsbasket (#9) in Baja in the next round. MBK Eurl.Vasas will play on the road against ZTE NKK in Zalaegerszeg and hope to get finally their first victory.
