No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Kaposvari (3-1) beat at home 7th ranked Marso NYKK (1-3) 78-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kaposvari led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Marso NYKK's 30. It was a very good performance for American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Roland Hendlein (203-86, agency: TSS Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Guard Laszlo Polyak (190-93) replied with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Latvian forward Martins Berkis (198-85, agency: TSS Management) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Marso NYKK. Kaposvari moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Marso NYKK lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Kaposvari will face PVSK Pannon (#6) in Pecs in the next round. Marso NYKK will play at home against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
