The game between Top Four teams took place in Moscow. 4th ranked host Dynamo Moscow (2-2) lost to top-ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (3-0) 65-58. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dynamo Moscow won fourth quarter 16-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Dynamo Moscow 40-28 including 26 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Aaron McGhee (203-79, college: Oklahoma) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) who added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Ural Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Evgeny Karpeko (204-89) responded with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Sergey Bolotskikh (206-90) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ural Ekaterinburg have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 3-0 record having just -1 point less than leader Ataman. Newly promoted Dynamo Moscow dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Ural Ekaterinburg are looking forward to face Novosybirsk (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dynamo Moscow will play against AltajBasket (#13) in Barnau and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
