Regular Season Round 6: Kaposvari - Szedeak 81-78

Date: November 3, 2012
The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Kaposvari as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Kaposvari edged 5th ranked Szedeak at home 81-78. It looked good early as Szedeak took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kaposvari had a 35-22 second period charge getting the lead and Szedeak was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-81. It was a good game for American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Serbian power forward Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and American guard Anthony Gurley (190-88, college: Massachusetts) added 25 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Szedeak. Kaposvari have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Szedeak at the other side dropped to the seventh place with three games lost.
