Regular Season Round 6: Kaposvari - Szedeak 81-78

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Kaposvari as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Kaposvari edged 5th ranked Szedeak at home 81-78. It looked good early as Szedeak took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kaposvari had a 35-22 second period charge getting the lead and Szedeak was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-81. It was a good game for American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Serbian power forward Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and American guard Anthony Gurley (190-88, college: Massachusetts) added 25 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Szedeak. Kaposvari have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Szedeak at the other side dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. Szedeak will play next round against ZTE KK trying to get back on the winning streak. Kaposvari will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Albacomp at Szekesfehervar.
