Bottom-ranked Spartak Vidnoye (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 79-73 loss to thirteenth ranked Avtodor (2-3) in Saratov. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Spartak Vidnoye won third quarter 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Avtodor forced 21 Spartak Vidnoye turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Avtodor especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by Spartak Vidnoye helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Avtodor moved-up to twelfth place. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with five games lost. Avtodor's next round opponent will be higher ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (#5) at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Spartak Vidnoye will play against Novosybirsk (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
