Regular Season Round 7: Hope-GBA - Fribourg 71-63

The game between second ranked Fribourg (5-2) and fifth ranked Hope-GBA (4-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Fribourg was defeated by Hope-GBA in a tough game in Bernex 63-71. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 22-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Hope-GBA made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 30 Fribourg turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Fribourg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Hope-GBA maintains fifth place with 4-3 record. Fribourg at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Riva Basket. Hope-GBA are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Bellinzona (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Fribourg will play against Pully (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
