Regular Season Round 10: DKSK - Cegledi EKK 95-64

There was no surprise in Miskolc where 8th ranked Cegledi EKK (2-8) was crushed by fifth ranked DKSK (6-4) 95-64. The game without a history. DKSK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Cegledi EKK's 38 and made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. DKSK forced 24 Cegledi EKK turnovers. Cegledi EKK was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American guard Brittainey Raven (183-88, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import forward Lenita Sanford (190-89, college: UNLV) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four DKSK players scored in double figures. DKSK's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Rita Hegedus (193-78) replied with 20 points and Polish power forward Natalia Mrozinska (191-84) added 13 points in the effort for Cegledi EKK. DKSK moved-up to fourth place. Cegledi EKK at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with BSE-FCSM. DKSK will play against Atomeromu (#7) in Szekszard in the next round. Cegledi EKK will play at home against ZTE NKK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
