Bottom-ranked Spartak Vidnoye is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Planeta-Univ. (4-3) 76-59 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Planeta-Univ. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 26. The winners were led by American forward David Loubeau (203-89, college: Texas A&M) who scored that evening 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Alexander Dobrydnev supported him with 17 points. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by Andrey Loginov (204-93) did not help to save the game for Spartak Vidnoye. point guard Denis Zakharov (193-93) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Planeta-Univ. maintains seventh position with 4-3 record, which they share with Avtodor. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with seven games lost. Planeta-Univ. will meet TEMP-SUMZ Revda (#10) on the road in the next round. Spartak Vidnoye will play against Ural Ekaterinburg (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
