Olympiacos Piraeus stole the show from 15000 Arena in Kaunas in EuroLegaue Group C. The Greek side needed a 77:63 to tie both records at 6-2 on top of the group. It was the top game of the group and brought lots of interest even before the start. Olympiacos Piraeus grabbed 21-18 lead after the first 10 minutes and added defensive 10-9 in the second quarter. Zalgiris Kaunas woke up with 23-17 in the third period and Marko Popovic closed the frame from the three-point line for 50:48. Olympiacos Piraeus meanwhile erupted with 29-13 in the last stanza and sealed the victory. Vassilis Spanoulis stepped up with 16 points and Kostas Papanikolaou netted 13. Josh Powell delivered 10, while Acie Law added 7. Rimantas Kaukenas totaled 17 points in the losing effort, while Paulius Jankunas contributed 11. Tremmell Darden and Marko Popovic scored 7 points each in a loss.
