Regular Season Round 10: Atomeromu - PVSK Pannon 86-60

Very predictable result when first ranked Atomeromu (8-2) rolled over 8th ranked PVSK Pannon (4-6) in Paks 86-60 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-60. Atomeromu made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 PVSK Pannon turnovers and outrebounded them 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for American Nick Williams (192-83, college: Cincinnati, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 4 assists. The other American import point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) contributed with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. The former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) replied with 9 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 16 points in the effort for PVSK Pannon. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-2 record, which they share with Albacomp and Kaposvari. PVSK Pannon at the other side dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. Atomeromu will face league's second-placed Albacomp in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. PVSK Pannon will play at home against Szedeak (#10) in Szeged.
