Everything went according to plan in Saransk where sixth ranked Ruskon-Mordovia (6-3) outscored 12th ranked Severstal (3-6) 76-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Ruskon-Mordovia. Severstal managed to win fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ruskon-Mordovia made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Severstal turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Fedor Klyuchnikov (192-90) who scored 22 points and 4 steals.
