There was no surprise when 5th ranked Ruskon-Mordovia (6-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (7-2) 82-70 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 43-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Ural Ekaterinburg made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Ruskon-Mordovia was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Aaron McGhee (203-79, college: Oklahoma) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners.
