The game in Sopron was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Falco-Szova (7-5) played at the court of fifth ranked Soproni (8-4). Soproni defeated Falco-Szova 86-72 on Friday. The game without a history. Soproni led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Soproni outrebounded Falco-Szova 35-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (208-90) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Dontay Thomas (186-84, college: La Salle) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Michael Fey (213-83, college: UCLA) added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Four Falco-Szova players scored in double figures. Soproni moved-up to fourth place. Loser Falco-Szova dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Soproni will meet league's leader Albacomp in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Falco-Szova will play against ZTE KK (#7) in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
