Regular Season Round 14: BSE-FCSM - Atomeromu 67-65

A very interesting game took place in Budapest. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Atomeromu (6-9) to ninth ranked BSE-FCSM (3-11) 67-65 on Saturday evening. Atomeromu was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 17-9 charge of BSE-FCSM, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Andrea Karolyi (183-75) who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Zita Sonyak (180-85) chipped in 13 points. Four BSE-FCSM players scored in double figures. BSE-FCSM's coach Stevan Cupic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Bosnian center Dragana Svitlica (190-88) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Maja Scekic (169-87) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively for the guests. BSE-FCSM moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Cegledi EKK. Atomeromu lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. BSE-FCSM's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Budapest MBK Eurl.Vasas.
