Regular Season Round 13: Atomeromu - Kaposvari 101-80

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Paks. Third ranked Atomeromu faced their biggest opponent Kaposvari. Host Atomeromu (10-4) smashed guests from Kaposvar (10-3) 101-80. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kaposvari. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Atomeromu had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kaposvari. Atomeromu maintains third place with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Albacomp. Kaposvari at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Atomeromu will play against ZTE KK (#9) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Kaposvari will play at home against FS Debrecen (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
