There was no surprise in Szombathely where 7th ranked ZTE KK (5-8) was crushed by fifth ranked Falco-Szova (8-5) 106-79 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Falco-Szova led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.3 percent from the field. Falco-Szova shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Laszlo Kalman (186-72, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and American power forward Michael Fey (213-83, college: UCLA) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Falco-Szova players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bosnian center Teo Simovic (205-84) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and international David Gaspar (196-82, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 10 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falco-Szova moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Soproni. ZTE KK lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
