An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Surgut. First ranked Universitet-Yugra faced second-best Ural Ekaterinburg. Host Universitet-Yugra (12-2) defeated guests from Ekaterinburg (11-3) 69-60. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Ural Ekaterinburg. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-60. The best player for the winners was guard Aleksandr Miloserdov (194-80) who scored 20 points. Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds.
