Regular Season Round 11: Arras - Familia Schio 69-57

Arras shock Familia Schio in France for the initial win at the EuroLeague 2012/2013 campaign. The French side improved to 1-8 record after a 69:57 victory. It looked good early as Familia Schio took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Arras had a 21-6 second period charge getting the lead and Familia Schio was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 57:69. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Familia Schio to just 6 points in second quarter. It was an exceptional evening for Sandra Dijon who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Olesia Malashenko accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Jantel Lavender came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and Danielle McCray added 16 points respectively for Familia Schio in the defeat. Arras maintains seventh place in Group B with 1-8 record. Familia Schio at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Arras' next round opponent will be Fenerbahce in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Familia Schio will play at home against the Good Angels and will have a slim chance for a victory.
