We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Severstal (4-13) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (4-13) 77-65. The game was mostly controlled by Sojuz Zaretchny. Severstal was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
