Regular Season Round 19: Jaszberenyi - Albacomp 75-70

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Albacomp (14-5) on the court of fifth ranked Jaszberenyi on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Jaszberenyi 75-70. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 47-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Two Points) answered with 10 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Albacomp. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaszberenyi (11-8) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Soproni. Albacomp at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Atomeromu. Jaszberenyi is looking forward to face Soproni (#4) on the road in the next round. Albacomp will play against FS Debrecen and is hoping to win this game.
