PBL top team - CSKA Moscow (11-1) managed to deliver another win on Thursday. This time they beat eighth ranked Unics Kazan (3-7) 89-79. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. CSKA Moscow shot 60.4 percent from the field. CSKA Moscow outrebounded Unics Kazan 30-18 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for CSKA Moscow especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Nenad Krstic (212-83) who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Serbian forward Vladimir Micov (201-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four CSKA Moscow players scored in double figures. CSKA Moscow's coach Ettore Messina let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
