Everything went according to plan in Cherepovec where ninth ranked Dynamo Moscow (10-9) outscored 14th ranked Severstal (4-16) 72-47. The game was mostly controlled by Dynamo Moscow. Severstal was better in fourth quarter 17-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Severstal 40-29 including 32 on the offensive glass. Dynamo Moscow players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Severstal's players. Forward Vladimir Belov (207-84) nailed 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Nikita Morgunov (210-75, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds.
