Second Stage Round 4: MBK Eurl.Vasas - Atomeromu 64-73

Not a big story in a game in Budapest where 6th ranked MBK Eurl.Vasas (2-24) were defeated by third ranked Atomeromu (15-9) 73-64 on Saturday. MBK Eurl.Vasas trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 15-9 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 64-73 at the end of the game. Atomeromu made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian Iva Roglic (189-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and forward Dorina Zele (185-92) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side power forward Judit Barnai (190-94) responded with 5 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and power forward Anna Mansare (188-92) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four MBK Eurl.Vasas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atomeromu maintains third position in Division with 15-9 record having eight points less than leader Bacsbasket. Loser MBK Eurl.Vasas keep the sixth place with 24 games lost. Atomeromu will face league's second-placed ZTE NKK in Zalaegerszeg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MBK Eurl.Vasas will play at home against the league's leader Bacsbasket (#1) in Baja.
