Second Stage Round 5: BSE-FCSM - ZTE NKK 57-84

The game in Budapest supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked ZTE NKK (13-3) played at the court of 5th ranked BSE-FCSM (5-12). ZTE NKK smashed BSE-FCSM 84-57 on Friday. The game without a history. ZTE NKK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to BSE-FCSM's 36 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. BSE-FCSM was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Zsofia Varga (182-89) who scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Zsofia Horvath (191-82) chipped in 15 points. Five ZTE NKK players scored in double figures. Forward Klara Tiba (193-81) produced 10 points and forward Lilla Adamecz (181-92) added 10 points respectively for the hosts. BSE-FCSM's coach Stevan Cupic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. ZTE NKK maintains second place in Division with 13-3 record behind leader Bacsbasket. Loser BSE-FCSM keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. ZTE NKK will face Atomeromu (#3) in Szekszard in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
