There was no surprise when 5th ranked Soproni (11-10) was defeated on the road by third ranked Kaposvari (15-6) 80-65. Kaposvari outrebounded Soproni 40-24 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Gabor Drahos (185-79) nailed 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) accounted for 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Kaposvari's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (208-90) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Gergely Toth (208-89, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Soproni in the defeat. Five Kaposvari and four Soproni players scored in double figures. Kaposvari maintains third place with 15-6 record behind leader Albacomp. Soproni lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. Kaposvari's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#4) at home. Soproni will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg.
