No shocking result in a game when second ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (16-4) crushed 14th ranked Severstal (4-18) in Cherepovec 76-50 on Sunday. The game without a history. Ural Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Severstal to just 4 points in first quarter. It was a great shooting night for Ural Ekaterinburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Severstal was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward Aaron McGhee (203-79, college: Oklahoma) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Ural Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. Forward Evgeny Voytyuk (200-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) answered with 9 points and 12 rebounds and Tamirlan Bekkiev (204-92) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Severstal.
