An interesting game took place in Ukhta where higher ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (12-10) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Planeta-Univ. (8-14) 87-82 on Friday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TEMP-SUMZ Revda. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But TEMP-SUMZ Revda won fourth quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Planeta-Univ. made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Michal Gabinski (202-87) who scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Stanislav Zinchenko (203-87) chipped in 20 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Planeta-Univ. players scored in double figures. Planeta-Univ.'s coach Alexander Gutorov used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was center Ivan Pavlov (200-89) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Dmitriy Kachanko (200-86) added 17 points respectively. Planeta-Univ. moved-up to eleventh place. Loser TEMP-SUMZ Revda keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Planeta-Univ. will meet Sojuz Zaretchny (#14) on the road in the next round. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will play against Spartak Vidnoye (#13) in Moscow and hope to secure a win.
