The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Kaposvari as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Division. Kaposvari defeated 3rd placed Atomeromu at home 102-84. It was a key game for the top position in Division. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Atomeromu managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kaposvari looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Atomeromu at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Atomeromu will play next round against strong Szolnok trying to get back on the winning streak. Kaposvari will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Kormend on the road.
