Second Stage Round 7: Bacsbasket - Atomeromu 68-52

Rather predictable result in Baja where first ranked Bacsbasket (16-3) beat 3rd placed Atomeromu (10-9) 68-52 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Bacsbasket. Atomeromu was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bacsbasket dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 26. Ukrainian forward Katerina Dorogobuzova (190-90, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. British center Azania Stewart (195-89, college: Florida) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bacsbasket players scored in double figures. Bosnian center Dragana Svitlica (190-88) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Dorina Zele (185-92) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bacsbasket maintains first place in Division with 16-3 record. Loser Atomeromu keeps the third position with nine games lost. Bacsbasket will face league's second-placed ZTE NKK in Zalaegerszeg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atomeromu will play at home against MBK Eurl.Vasas in Budapest.
