Second Stage Round 8: ZTE NKK - Bacsbasket 60-72

The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-ranked ZTE NKK's (15-5) home loss to first ranked Bacsbasket (17-3) 60-72 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Bacsbasket outrebounded ZTE NKK 37-22 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. ZTE NKK was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Dalma Ivanyi (178-76, college: FIU) who scored 15 points and 8 assists. Latvian center Aija Brumermane (191-86, agency: Regeneracom Sports) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Bacsbasket's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Anna Vida (184-85, agency: TSS Management) produced 17 points and forward Judit Szelesy (184-78, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Bacsbasket maintains first position in Division with 17-3 record. ZTE NKK at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost.
