Second Stage Round 3: Atomeromu - Jaszberenyi 89-86

The most exciting game of round 3 in the A Division took place in Paks. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of bottom-ranked Jaszberenyi (0-3) to third ranked Atomeromu (2-1) 89-86 on Saturday evening. Jaszberenyi was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 31-22 charge of Atomeromu, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who led his team to a victory with 28 points. The former international Gergely Koertelyesi (202-83, agency: TSS Management) contributed with 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 assists and power forward Balint Horti (206-89, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Jaszberenyi. Five Jaszberenyi players scored in double figures. Atomeromu moved-up to second place in Division. Jaszberenyi at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Atomeromu are looking forward to face league's leader Albacomp in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jaszberenyi will play at home against Kormend (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
