Second Stage Round 3: Kaposvari - Albacomp 81-89

An interesting game for Albacomp (3-0) which played road game in Kaposvar against 4th placed Kaposvari (1-2). Leader Albacomp managed to get a 8-point victory 89-81. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Albacomp outrebounded Kaposvari 39-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Naturalized American forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Two Points) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) with 22 points and 9 assists and the other American import point guard Anthony Kyle (175-81, college: Miles) scored 30 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Albacomp maintains first place in Division with 3-0 record. Kaposvari at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Albacomp will play against league's second-placed Atomeromu in Paks in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kaposvari will play at home against Szolnok in Szolnok and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
