Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (4-21) was rolled over at home by sixth ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (15-10) 86-67 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by TEMP-SUMZ Revda. Sojuz Zaretchny managed to win third quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TEMP-SUMZ Revda made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for TEMP-SUMZ Revda especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Dmitriy Kachanko (200-86) who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Aleksey Komarov (206-81) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four TEMP-SUMZ Revda players scored in double figures. TEMP-SUMZ Revda's coach Roman Dvinyaninov used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Denis Novikov (200-85) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Sergei Chudinovskich (193-81) added 13 points respectively. TEMP-SUMZ Revda have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Sojuz Zaretchny lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. They share the position with Severstal. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will meet at home league's leader Universitet-Yugra in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sojuz Zaretchny will play against the league's second-placed Ural Ekaterinburg (#2) and hope to secure a win.
