Barcelona Regal stole a road win over Montepaschi Siena in the 13th round of EuroLeague Top 16. Nathan Jawai came up with 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the winners. Barcelona entered the game without their key trio of Navarro, Tomic and Mickael. Montepaschi capitalized early in the game taking a 25:23 lead at the first break. Barcelona reacted with more aggressive defence in the second quarter. The Spaniards held Siena to 15 points in the period and ensured a 45:40 halftime lead. Barcelona stretched their advantage in the third quarter. They opened a 10-point lead at the final intermission 65:55. Kangur helped Siena revive the intrigue in the fourth frame. The Estonian dragged Montepaschi within three points 69:72. Marcelinho Huertas came up with a key bucket and then Nathan Nathan Jawai pulled down several rebounds to seal the deal for the visitors. Joe Ingles connected for 20 points, while Marcelinho Huertas provided 14 points and 6 assists in the win. Bobby Brown answered with 15 points for Montepaschi Siena. David Moss chipped in 12 points in the losing case.
