Leading Albacomp (21-6) recorded its sixth loss on the court of second ranked Szolnok. Visitors were defeated by Szolnok 75-70. Albacomp was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Albacomp was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized American forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Bosnian-Montenegrin swingman Sead Sehovic (196-89) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) responded with 16 points and the other American import forward Kevin Smith (195-89, college: Richmond) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Despite that victory Szolnok went down to sixth position (Division) due to points difference. Albacomp at the other side still keeps top place with six games lost. Szolnok will play against higher ranked Jaszberenyi (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Albacomp will play against Kormend and hopes to get back on the winning track.
