Second Stage Round 6: Atomeromu - Kaposvari 84-83

Important game to mention about took place in Paks. Second ranked Atomeromu (20-8) saved a 1-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Kaposvari (17-11) 84-83 in the game for the second place. It looked good early as Kaposvari took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Atomeromu had a 20-17 second period charge getting the lead and Kaposvari was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-84. American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) notched 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Stanley International) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Kaposvari. American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 18 points. Five Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Atomeromu maintains second position in Division with 20-8 record having just two points less than leader Albacomp. Kaposvari at the other side keeps the third place with 11 games lost. Atomeromu will play against Szolnok (#6) in Szolnok in the next round. Kaposvari will play at home against Kormend and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
