Tenth-ranked Ryazan (13-15) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (21-6) on Saturday. The visitors from Ekaterinburg managed to secure only three-point victory 58-55. However their fans expected much easier game. Ryazan's coach Zoran Cvetanovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ural Ekaterinburg have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 21-6 record having just -17 point less than leader Univ.Surgut, which they share with Novosybirsk. Ryazan lost third consecutive game.
