Very expected game when 9th ranked SAM Massagno (4-22) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Neuchatel (14-12) 78-65. The game was mostly controlled by Neuchatel. SAM Massagno was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Neuchatel dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SAM Massagno's 32. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Thomas Coleman (205-88, college: N.Carolina A&T) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Quinton Day (185-84, college: UMKC, agency: Three Eye Sports) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Naturalized Serbian forward Marko Mladjan (206-93) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and American forward Daniel Fitzgerald (206-84, college: Marquette) added 17 points respectively for SAM Massagno in the defeat. Neuchatel moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Monthey. SAM Massagno lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 22 games lost.
