Second Stage Round 9: Atomeromu - Albacomp 76-84

An interesting game for Albacomp (24-7) which played road game in Paks against second-best Atomeromu (21-10). First ranked Albacomp managed to get a 8-point victory 84-76. Atomeromu was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 49-39 second half run of Albacomp. They also forced 21 Atomeromu turnovers. American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) chipped in 8 points and 11 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 21 points. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Albacomp maintains first place in Division with 24-7 record. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost. Albacomp will play against Szolnok (#6) in Szolnok in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Atomeromu will play at home against Kormend (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
